Library Internet Policy
The intent of the Ephraim Public Library Computer & Internet Policy is to comply with the provisions of Utah and Federal Code. This policy also serves to provide guidelines for Ephraim Public Library (hereafter, Library) patrons and staff regarding computer and internet usage.

Library Collection Development Policy
The purpose of the Collection Development Policy is to guide librarians and the Library Board (hereafter, the Board) and to inform the public of the principles upon which selections are made.

Library Reconsideration Policy
A singular obligation of a public library is to reflect, within its collection, differing points of view on controversial or debatable subjects. The Ephraim Public Library does not declare particular beliefs or views, nor does the selection of an item express or imply an endorsement of the author's/creator's viewpoint. Library materials WILL NOT be marked or identified to show approval or disapproval of content.

Library Code of Conduct Policy
The Ephraim Public Library is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all patrons and staff. This code of conduct is designed to ensure that all library users can enjoy the library's resources, services, and facilities without disruption.

Library Circulation Policy
General Policy: The Ephraim Public Library provides books, media, and other materials for public use. This policy explains how to get a library card, borrow materials, and handle fines or fees.
Central Utah Collaborative Integrated Library System: As a member of this consortium, Ephraim Public Library card holders have access to materials at Manti and Mt. Pleasant libraries. Residents of these cities need to obtain a library card from their home library.

Background Check Policy
In compliance with Utah State Code 9-7-218, this policy establishes guidelines for background checks on library staff and volunteers at the Ephraim Public Library, hereafter known as “the library”. It outlines which library positions are subject to a background check, sets a timeline for when and how often background checks will be run, and establishes guidelines for the retention and security of background checks.
